Materials
You need to have the following materials for class each day:
- Calculator: scientific or graphing; calculator needs to perform basic arithmetic and trigonomic functions (such as sin, cos)
- Colored whiteboard markers (you will want about 3 different colors)
- Pencil: mechanical pencils are preferred
- Ruler (for graphing and drawing lens diagrams)
- Notebook or binder with loose-leaf paper and room to add worksheets and handouts: find a note-taking procedure that works well for you and stick with it!
