READ THIS:
All physics classes will be assigned online homework on a regular basis.
Some homework assignments will be given an effort grade and others will be assigned an academic grade. Some effort assignments will include an academic problem, which will be randomly chosen.
Online homework is due at the beginning of the next class period. In order to receive credit for a "full attempt" students must earn at least a 50% on the assignment prior to the start of class.
Students can redo problems as many times as needed until they answer it correctly. However, each wrong answer subtracts a portion of your points. You still get partial credit on a second or third try if you get it right. Any unattempted questions earn zero points. Once you have completed all problems, click SUBMIT HOMEWORK. After submitting an assignment, the assignment will reset and you will be able to redo the assignment. Students may redo homework assignments as many times as they want. I will grade homework at the start of class on the day the assignment is due and will only enter a student's highest score.
Students who submit a full attempt on time will be able to retake the assignment for a maximum score of 96%. Students have 5 school days (1 calendar week) to retake the assignment. Check the comments in PowerSchool for the exact date. In order for students to have the new score inputted into the grade book, students need to email me ([email protected]) and let me know that they redid the assignment.
All online homework can be found at: www.intelligentdesigneronline.com/jmckeon
To log into the online homework page, click on your class and then select "Homework." Then type your student ID into the log in box. Your student ID can be found on PowerSchool, under the student information section.
